The Abbey of Our Lady of Ephesus is the home of the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles established in the Diocese of Kansas City- St. Joseph, Missouri in 2006. Designed for 50 sisters, the Abbey includes the Main Chapel (completed in 2018), the Abbey Residence and Chapter House with chapter room, refectory, recreation, dairy, sewing rooms, parlors, and gift shop (completed in 2010), and the Retreat House with 8 guest rooms for visiting priests (completed in 2015). All were built beautifully by Straub Construction of Shawnee, Kansas.
